Eluned joined Citizens Advice Cymru in the Senedd, as the organisation celebrated its 80th anniversary.
Citizens Advice was formed the day after the outbreak of World War II, and initially helped people deal with the impacts of war, and the huge changes it brought to their daily lives.
While the problems that people bring to Citizens Advice have changed over time, demand for the service has only increased. Last year, Citizens Advice Cymru helped nearly 100,000 people in Wales. Universal Credit, the Personal Independence Payment and council tax debt were the three most frequently seen issues, but the service helps people with everything from housing problems, to unmanageable debt through to discrimination at work and more.
